Nomenclature Note:

The rules of priority make Q. ×hispanica 'Dentata' P. Watson (1825) the correct name for this cultivar, but Loudon's name is here proposed for conservion for the sake of nomenclatural stability and to avoid confusion with Q. ×hispanica 'Lucombeana Dentata'
