Quercus ×takatorensis Makino, J. Jap. Bot. 4: 1 (1927) is a synonym of Quercus ×nipponica Koidz., (1912).

Parentage:
Q. dentata Thunb. × Q. serrata Murray.
Nomenclature Note:
Both Makino in the protologue and Ohwi in Flora of Japan (1965) suspected Q. ×takatoresnsis to be a hybrid of the same parentage as Q. ×nipponica (Q. dentata × Q. serrata).
